Secure Chat v 3.0: Completely Redesigned User Interface & Great New Features

Today we released Secure Chat 3.0, featuring a completely redesigned stunning new user interface and many great new features.

SECURE CHAT 3.0

New Look & Feel

More than just a new look, the updated Secure Chat interface was redesigned with you in mind. Don’t worry, we kept all the functionalities you know and love, while we made it more user-friendly and upgraded its optimization. The new design pattern follows Material Design guidelines for mobile applications and has become standard practice in recent years.

Simplified Presence Statuses

 We have also implemented a simplified presence status. Your contacts will now appear "Online" when they are connected to the secure infrastructure, and "Last Seen" will show the last time the user was connected. Simplifying the presence statuses allows for more streamlined connectivity, unobstructed user interface, and better overall user experience.

Saving Incoming Messages to Secure Vault

One of the most requested features was to make it possible to save to Secure Vault incoming messages, initially sent in For Your Eyes Only and/or Time To Live modes. To satisfy the demand of our partners, we have improved the Secure Chat with an ability to safely store such incoming messages to Secure Vault, when FYEO/TTL time intervals were not specified.

Notable Fixes & Improvements

Secure Chat 3.0 features many notable fixes and improvements:

  • Revamped and improved navigation drawer and settings menu – unused functionalities were removed for easier navigation.
  • Enhanced stability, ensuring a smooth user experience when using the application.
  • Better network connectivity, ensuring uninterrupted service.
  • Minor user interface improvements and bug fixes.
