The latest version comes as good news to all the Secure Email users. It contains an important improvement that streamlines the email sync performance.

A common issue with Secure Email was that it sometimes did not sync emails from the mail server to the application on your phone right away. With the latest version of Secure Email, when you read, reply, delete, forward, or otherwise manage your email, the changes are made on the server in real time and sync with your email application. Furthermore, the email connection uses the secure settings that encrypt the connection between your Secure Email and the mail server to ensure that your mail is private and cannot be read by anyone but the intended recipient.

Optimized network data usage

The increased data usage observed by some of our users was successfully reproduced and confirmed by our research and development team. After extensive test runs it was determined that this behavior was caused by the app constantly entering sync loop with the servers when the device was idle. As a result, a solution was implemented to adjust and streamline the sync performance.

The improved algorithm for network data consumption notably increases the overall user experience by preventing users from reaching the data limit prematurely prior the end of the billing cycle. This also improves our internal server infrastructure, allowing us to effectively allocate our resources for a better service.
